    Bands are made from a
    medical grade, non toxic, Non Latex plastic elastomer (elastic plastic) .
     Our Baby Poultry Chick Bands are soft much like silicone and stretch like
    a rubber band.   They are stronger than bands made from rubber and
    have a great size retention.  Once bands start to get tight from the
    chicks growing, about 3 weeks, graduate to the next size up.

    For many chicks the last size

    Heads up;
    Any brand
    of chick sized band is only useful for a short time with young stock.  The
    younger they are the faster they grow and the faster they go through all sizes
    of bands whether, they are Chicken Hill’s brand or any other chick band on the
    market.  Not recommended for permanent adult banding or for hard
    billed birds.
    All brands of chick bands
    should be changed before they get to tight and cut into their legs.
